Last post...

So.. we're reaching the end of the story! My first post was true, but maybe too simple. Now I would like to add some things about it to complete it.

Queenswood might be cool, BUT:

- The rules are too strict

- The "lights out" time is too early

- The diner time is too early ( I mean, sometimes I eat diner when I'm going to bed here...)

- The rule that tells us not to go to our bedrooms during our free time and lunch time is

completely ridiculous

- We have way too many hours of class

- The wake-up time is too early (We have to wake-up at the same hour even during the week-

end!!)

- Huuuum.... That's all... I think... :P

But there aren't only bad things about Queenswood... at all!!

- The people you meet here can completely change the way you used to see the world! You

meet people from other countries which means different cultures, different ways to make

everything, different ways to dress, to talk, to... EVERYTHING

- The food's really good... for a canteen

- The activities are great

- Most of the AOS and teachers are really nice

- The place is beautiful

- And so on...

I think I'll never forget QW because it's a new experience most of the people don't have the chance to live, I would looove to say something about the people I met here and with whom I spent most of my time but there's no word to describe it.. <3>
I had a real good time here, hope it'll be the same the next years and even better

Bye!!

How would I live in the 16th century

I don't know if I would be able to live in such circumstances... I supose you just get used to it from the beginning, because you've never known another way to live...

Imagine your hygiene, everything!!! Even rich people weren't clean, Carl said that Queen Elisabeth had only one bath a YEAR, and changed her clothes every month!! If Queen Elisabeth did that, what about poor people who lived in the country and were always dirty, had to drink poluated water (because none of the technologies we have now were invented)!! And because of that dirty way to live, you only had a live expentancy of 35 years... In Versailles, life was a bit different, The King chose some families to live in his castle (that was a honor to live in Versailles). He gave them a house, food and enternainment (there were "casino's" and many games were played to entertain the residents so that they had no time to spend on plotting against the King (a bit like in Queenswood actually :P) ). There were lots of curtains in that castle, but no toilets... you can imagine how perfectly clean they were...!! There are to many things to say about this age.. too much to put them all in here... the only short thing a can say is that I would rather DIE than live in that age... Well, maybe not die.. I would put some conditions like, firstable you HAVE to be rich in that age to live decently, and then I would like to have a huuuuuge collection of dresses so that I cold change clothes at least everyday :P and of course more hygiene..

Art in everyday's life

Art is actually really present in my life. I like listening to music (like almost everybody but it is still true), all kinds of music. My parents listen to a wiiiiide variety of music so I'm kind of well cultured in that "sector", I listen to music all the time, when I come home, the music is already there, yeah.. really music is omnipresent in my life...

Then goes design and fashion, I LOVE fashion, it's a bit a cliché for a girl to like fashion but I really do, I always buy fashion magazines instead of gossip magazines (most of the girls buy this kind of magazines), Haute couture magazines, I find them really interesting, how can someone just imagine such dresses!! And I design also, sometimes.. when I'm bored, and now I've just started doing my own clothes, and I find it really fun! I think I've always loved fashion, yeah, since I was very young, I always cared about which colour went with which other and the different styles that were compatible and stuff...

I also like movies, because for every mood, there's a movie! When you're feeling funny, you can watch a comedy, when you are bored and want to watch something interersting you can watch an alternative movie, and the series are also reaaaally good when you're bored, it keeps you interested in something for weeks and weeks, and so on...

During my french lessons in Brussels, we started analysing pictures and it's really interesting when you find out that every single detail of a picture does mean something , the pictures become more entertaining.. Well that's what I think.. :P

Life in the future

I've already thought about what life would look like in, for example, 50 years or more. I think (AND hope) electric cars will replace the petrol cars we have now.. and maybe, I said maybe, they'll fly, you know, like personal small planes to take you anywhere you would like to go, anytime! And the planes we've got now would be replaced by rockets to the moon, to Mars, etc..

People will continue eating real food, not pills, I had been thinking of nutritive pills that would give you all the vitamins, minerals, proteins, and so on that you need, but they wouldn't be as tasty as real food, no..we shouldn't change our food, the cities would be very clean, and the deserts and some planets would be livable so that everybody could live in more space, there would be many green places like parks and stuff. The weather would be controled by specialists so that everybody would have a bit of rain and of sun. Yeah, I'm getting out of the subject now, I'm talking about a perfect world! And I know all this would never happen, I better stop here, so that's it!

Oh so dear M.J. ..

They told me I had to write about someone I admired.. I don't really "admire" anyone, BUT as everybody's talking a lot about Michael Jackson and his death, why wouldn't I do the same?

I think he's a lovable and hatable person at the same time.. Lovable because.. yeah, maybe simply because he was a god damn genius!!! Did you see the way he could dance?? AND sing???? Nah, I think he's an AMAAAZING artist, come on, he set up a new era!! Now, as a person, he's just a piece of sh*t.. I think we all know that.. Don't have to explain anything else.. We all know what I'm talking about..

And I forgot to say that before his unhuman, and awful operation he was really handsome, really... that's a shame he changed his whole body...

I've just arrived at Queenswood, last Saturday actually.. My best friend had already been here for two weeks so it hasn't been difficult to make friends here! I thought being here wouldn't be fun because of all the rules, but it happened to be one of the funniest and most interesting things I've ever done! So, yes, I'm having a greaaaaat time :)
